What is the Bag/Purse Policy at Events?
The Buffalo County Fairgrounds is a CLEAR BAG POLICY venue for all ticketed grandstand events. CLEAR BAGS and small clutch-sized purses are only allowed at entry.
For grandstand events during the Buffalo County Fair, the bag policy is clutch sizes only and applies to all paid events held in the Exposition Center and Beer Garden. Signage will be posted on the grounds.
Where is your office located?
The Fair Office is located in the Exhibit Building on the fairgrounds. This building faces North, and we are located at the very east end, (closest to the KVFD Bingo Area). Dave Roseberry, Andrea Peachey, and Amanda Barrett’s offices are at this location.
What is the Extension Office Number?
The number for the Extension is 308-236-1235. The Extension Office is the gray office building located directly South of the Exhibit Building.
How do I purchase tickets?
You may purchase tickets for our events at www.etix.com. We have full confidence that this service will not reveal your credit card information, sell your name to anyone or reveal personal information.

Do I need a liquor license for my event?
Our Food and Beverage Manager will coordinate ALL alcohol on the Buffalo County Fairgrounds premises. If you need to coordinate an event, you must fill out the Food and Beverage Form at LEAST three weeks prior to the scheduled event, otherwise alcohol will not be an option at your event. Please contact the Fair Office for contact information.
How much is parking?
Parking for the Buffalo County Fair is $5 per car. Load up your friends and come see us at the fair! All other events are typically free parking for all attendees.
I need handicap accessibility. What are the steps to take?
Please call the Buffalo County Fair Office at 308-236-1201 before you purchase tickets to ensure accessibility. The handicap row (Row D), will never be accessible to the general public so that our company may ensure seats for those truly needing this accommodation. Thank you for your understanding.
Do you have camping available?
Our fairgrounds does have camping available. There are electrical hook ups, water and a dump station located on the grounds. We have 20, 30 and 50 amp hook ups. It is $20 a night for camping, as of September 1st, 2022. Our office hours are M-F, 8 am to 5 pm. There is a black drop box located on the outside of the fair office doors for after hours payment. We do not have a bathhouse available. We are a first come first serve camping facility. We do not offer long term camping. If you plan to stay longer than 5 days please stop in our office and discuss your travel situation.
