CR’s Beef Barn is back as another great concession option. CR’s will occupy the Harvest Room of the Exhibit Building again at this year’s Buffalo County Fair. CR’s Beef Barn, or CR’s for short will serve Certified Angus Beef, complete with home-style fixings and sides.
Some of the menu items include prime rib sandwich, brisket sandwich, Philly steak sandwich with homestyle coleslaw, chips and corn.
CR’s is more than melt-in-your-mouth beef products, it’s a way the Buffalo County Fair is able to commemorate the memory of Fair Manager Dave Roseberry’s son Cole, who passed away July 2013. “CR” represents Cole’s initials. For every meal purchased $1 will be donated back to the Cole Roseberry Memorial Fund, which provides aid to elementary schools and sports programs.
“We would eventually like to be able to donate $1,000 to each of the 10 elementary schools,” said Roseberry. “The money goes to children in need of basic items such as winter coats and shoes. We have also donated money to sports programs that Cole felt strongly about.”
CR’s will be in operation July 26-30. Wednesday evening from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday-Sunday from 11-9 p.m. in the air-conditioned Harvest Room, located in the Exhibit Building.
